Our village map

We planned, designed and made our own model village of Pontyclun.

We enjoyed showing our model village to children from Reception. We explained how we made our chosen building and the materials we used. Then we had fun playing with it.

PE - gymnastic activities

We have been enjoying gymnastic activities during indoor PE.

We have been travelling in different ways using our hands and feet - bunny hopping, frog hopping and foxes.  We tried hard to travel in different directions.

We made sequences using what we had practised.

We watched our partners sequence carefully and talked about what we thought was good about it.

Autumn craft

We have been learning about the seasons.  We developed our fine motor control by sewing felt leaves to hang in the classroom.

We worked together to sort pictures into the correct season.  Then we thought about our birthdays and what season we celebrated them in.

After our autumn work we created autumn trees using paint and autumn colured paper for leaves.

Autumn fun

.We visited the local woodland to look for signs of autumn.
