Games - Dribbling a ball

This week we had PE outdoors and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine! We explored different ways of dribbling the ballv-vusing the inside, outside and front of our feet. We enjoyed taking the ball for a 'walk' and tried hard to keep the ball as close to our foot as we could.

Mathematical Development - Addition

This week we have been working hard to count on to add 2 numbers. Outdoors we have been enjoying some messy fun. We had to find numbers in shaving foam and custard and match them with the correct number sentence.

Pilot visit

Mr Reed a real pilot came to visit us at school. Before he came we thought about questions to ask him about being a pilot. He wore his pilot uniform and brought a map to show us the flight paths and places he has flown.

Mr Reed explained how a plane takes off, flies and lands safely. When we got back to class we wrote our own pilot reports.
