We've been thinking about 'adjectives'. Adjectives are describing words like pretty, spotty, happy, colourful, smelly, beautiful, cheerful, spikey, hairy, big, friendly. 
We know that 'nouns' are naming words. Look at our butterflies!
We 've been talking about 'verbs'. Verbs are doing words like crawling, dancing, singing, playing, walking, talking.
We drew mini beasts on the school yard and thought of describing words and doing words to go with our butterflies, caterpillars, spiders and snails.
